We want you to love your Imagination Stations product. This page explains what you can expect from our handcrafted products, how to care for them, and what is covered under our warranty.

Every Imagination Stations product is thoughtfully handcrafted in Ontario using quality cedar or pressure-treated lumber. We take great pride in our workmanship and carefully select the best materials available to build products that inspire outdoor play and create lasting childhood memories.
Because we work with real wood, every product is one of a kind. We believe its natural character is part of what makes it beautiful.
By placing an order with Imagination Stations, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms.
Wood Care & Warranty
Handcrafted from Natural Wood
Our products are handcrafted from solid cedar or pressure-treated wood. Unlike plastic or manufactured materials, wood is a natural product and no two pieces are exactly alike.
We carefully inspect and select our lumber before every build. However, natural wood contains unique grain patterns, knots and internal characteristics that cannot always be seen before construction and may continue to develop as the wood naturally responds to its environment.
These natural characteristics are part of owning a handcrafted wood product.
What to Expect
As your product ages outdoors, you may notice:
Knots and grain variation
Colour changes from sunlight and weather exposure
Natural checking (small surface cracks)
Expansion and contraction with seasonal humidity
Slight movement or minor warping
Small resin or sap pockets (particularly in cedar)
These are natural characteristics of solid wood and are not considered manufacturing defects.
Cosmetic characteristics that do not affect the structural integrity, safety or intended function of the product are considered a normal part of natural wood and do not require repair or replacement.
Protecting Your Product
To maximize the life and appearance of your product, we strongly recommend:
Adding our Outdoor Protection Finish at the time of purchase or applying a quality exterior wood oil after delivery.
Reapplying finish as required based on weather exposure.
Storing products in a covered or sheltered area during extended periods of non-use.
Avoiding prolonged exposure to standing water whenever possible.
Products purchased without a protective finish will weather more quickly and require more regular maintenance by the owner.
Like any outdoor wood product, regular care will significantly extend its life and appearance.
Our Warranty
We proudly stand behind our craftsmanship.
If you experience a defect resulting from our workmanship or a structural issue that affects the intended use of the product, please contact us and we’ll work with you to make it right.
Warranty claims are reviewed individually and may require photographs before determining the appropriate resolution.
Our Warranty Does Not Cover
Our warranty does not cover:
Natural wood characteristics listed above
Colour changes or weathering
Natural checking (small cracks)
Expansion, contraction or seasonal movement
Minor warping that does not affect functionality
Cosmetic imperfections inherent to natural wood
Normal wear and tear
Damage resulting from improper use, neglect, abuse or lack of maintenance
Damage caused by severe weather, flooding or other environmental conditions beyond our control
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
Performing routine maintenance appropriate for outdoor wood products.
Applying and maintaining a protective finish if desired.
Periodically inspecting and tightening hardware as needed.
Using the product only for its intended purpose.
Delivery & Inspection
Delivery dates are estimates and may occasionally change due to weather, traffic or other unforeseen circumstances.
Please inspect your order upon delivery.
If you believe there is a workmanship concern or shipping damage, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery so we can review the issue promptly.
Returns & Cancellations
Because every product is handcrafted to order, cancellations and refunds may be limited once production has begun.
If you have concerns regarding your order, please contact us. We are committed to providing excellent customer service and will always do our best to find a fair solution.
Product Safety
Adult supervision is recommended whenever children are using our products.
Customers should periodically inspect their products to ensure all fasteners remain secure and the product continues to be used safely.
